This damage will clearly be a homework for Motorola, before marketing its products. If this folding screen cellphone has been produced, Motorola will have to spend a little deeper to withdraw its products from the market.

This incident is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold folding screen incident which was damaged, at the beginning of its first sale. Samsung also had to postpone the sale of the Galaxy Fold for some time, until it completely resolved the problem.

The same endurance test was also carried out by CNET on the Samsung Galaxy Fold. In testing, the Samsung folding screen phone lasted 120,000 times when it was opened and closed. This figure is certainly different from the Motorola Razr test results.

According to reports Engadget, Samsung claims the device can last at least 200,000 folds. If folded 100 times a day, that’s enough to make the phone last for 5 years of use.

The test results will certainly be a separate consideration, before buying the Motorola Razr. Moreover, the price of this device reaches 1,499 US dollars (US) or around Rp. 20 million if it is sold in Indonesia.
