Google Wants to Make a Surprise at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Celebration

JAKARTA – Soon Samsung will hold its annual celebration, titled ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ on February 12 in San Francisco, United States (US). In this event Google will also participate and promise something interesting.

Quoting from Gizchina, the Android Twitter account suddenly uploaded a short video showing the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. This is quite surprising because Android is rarely present at product launch events from companies from South Korea.

While it is not clear what Google will launch, it is quite interesting as the world’s largest tech company has hinted at something interesting for the event.

Previously, a leak was also seen claiming that Samsung and Google will make Google Duo native support on Galaxy smartphones. The report also said that Samsung is working on a new video messaging format for its smartphones.

It’s possible that the two companies are working in partnership to expand the use of Google Duo. Although the feature was initially usable only in Korea, it will eventually be launched worldwide.

If the surprise isn’t the Google Duo, the shocking thing could be Android support for Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip. This phone could be a great way for Android to show off its built-in support as a foldable technology and something to bring for the future.

Looks like we have to be patient waiting for what surprises will be given Google at the event. Meanwhile, Samsung itself will launch the Galaxy S20 smartphone series at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event.

Reportedly, Samsung will also launch three S series, namely their flagship smartphone, along with the foldable Galaxy Z Flip device.

The Galaxy S20 series is equipped with a 108 megapixel camera with 16GB of internal RAM, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra will be available with 12GB, 256GB and 512GB internal storage options.

Google wants to limit annoying pop-up ad impressions on YouTube

JAKARTA – For some people, advertisements that appear suddenly on YouTube videos must be disturbed. Unlike the content creators who deliberately put ads or advertisements in order to get cuan (money). But somehow, Google is starting to take into account to limit the number of ad views on YouTube videos. Even Google will block ad impressions that appear on YouTube video uploads with a duration of less than 8 minutes. Quoting from The Verge , this decision was taken after looking at the results of research to determine the type of advertisement that was annoying to YouTube video content. They say that the 31-second non-skippable pre-roll ad at the start of the video, or the skippable ad in the middle of the video is the version of the ad that people hate the most online. “We want to develop new standards in ad serving so that it is better and does not interfere with video content. Beating YouTube, Instagram Shows Rp.273.6 Trillion Ad Revenue

JAKARTA – Instagram may not be the biggest cuan (money) generator for Facebook, but recently it has broken the bitter opinion of those who belittle them. Quoting Bloomberg On Wednesday, February 5, the application that was acquired by Mark Zuckerberg generated USD20 billion, equivalent to IDR273.6 trillion in advertising revenue throughout 2019, of course this figure accounts for more than a quarter of Facebook’s total revenue. In fact, Instagram didn’t have a model to generate revenue when it was acquired by Facebook in 2012. Now the app makes money in the same way as Facebook by selling the ads that appear on features Stories , in Feeds , and Explore tab . Now the Instagram team is increasingly finding ways to integrate ads among user content that sometimes appears on Home . Instagram’s sales figures are very attractive compared to YouTube which only made US $ 15 billion last year. Ad revenue is only about 10 percent of total Google revenue. What’s th...
